UBCEA Overwatch Presents: Heroes Draft: Recall
The world needs more heroes. Are you up for the call?
Enter Heroes Draft: Recall. A brand new tournament where teams will battle each other in a Captain-based draft system. Captains will construct six-man teams of Recruits to compete for the championship title. Due to the draft component, we encourage heroes of all skill levels to participate! Recall is open to everyone (all ages), not only UBC students.
Should you choose to partake, it is imperative that heroes register and pay entrance fee by November 22nd. The form below will allow you to enlist as either a Captain or a Recruit. If you choose to lead a team, it will be necessary for you to attend the Online Draft Session for Captains on November 24th, where you will decide which heroes to take into battle with you. If you join as a Recruit, you will be informed of your designated Captain post-draft. On November 25th, the map pool will be announced, and from then until the tournament, you and your team will be able to strategize, train, and prepare for the trials ahead.
The true test of your team’s strength will take place on November 30th. Meet us at the rendezvous point: The Gaming Stadium. Here, your team will partake in a series of games that will determine who the top heroes of local Overwatch are. Check-in will take place at 11am, where you will be able to warm up before games begin at 12pm sharp.
Your hardships will not go without recognition. The top team to emerge from this tournament will be rewarded generously. Additionally, we will be running raffles throughout the event for all to participate in.
