The Gaming Stadium is happy to announce the return of our Teamfight Tactics Circuit for May-June, now proudly powered by our awesome new partners at 7-Eleven!

The perfect way to shake off the social distancing blues, the Teamfight Tactics Circuit gives players two opportunities each week win prizes and/or earn a spot at our Invitational tournament, all from the comfort of your home with our fully ONLINE events!

How will the online circuit work? We will be running our weekly $100 prize pool tournament through our Discord channel (discord.gg/TGS) every Sunday night and on UBC’s channel (discord.io/ubcesports) for their free mini-weekly every Thursday.

Tournaments are open to all Canadian residents, and joining is simple:

1. Purchase a ticket from our website using the “Tickets” link.
2. Be ready in the Tournament channel of our Teamfight Tactics discord section 15 minutes before the tournament start time.

🔸TGS Sunday Online Weeklies

➡️ Tournament Format:

TGS online tournaments take place on our discord:discord.gg/TGS (You must select the TFT role to view tournament channels) Each weekly start at 6:30 PM. There will be 3 rounds of swiss games followed by a 4th game for the top 8 players. Prizes will be determined based on standings after the 4th game.
Each tournament will feature a $100 prize pool paid out to the top 3 finishers.

💰 Prize Pool:

1st: $50 + 10 Circuit Points
2nd: $30 + 7 Circuit Points
3rd: $20 + 5 Circuit Points
4th: 3 Circuit Points
5th and below: 1 Circuit Point

UBC Esports hosts weekly lobbies in their discord on Thursday nights that anyone is free to join.
They are hosted online through the UBC Esports discord you can find here: discord.io/ubcesports
Note: You must assign yourself the League of Legends role to gain access to the TFT section of the discord.

Each night there will be a warm up game that is just for fun, followed by 2 official games that each give off Circuit points for the top 3 finishers. If there are more than 8 people on a night, it will be split into two lobbies that are not worth points and the 4 highest placing from both lobbies will move on to the second game. This second game will award double the points

Official Games Prizes (8 or less people):
1st: 3 Circuit Points
2nd: 2 Circuit Points
3rd: 1 Circuit Point

Official Games Prizes (9 to 16 people, points awarded in second game):
1st: 6 Circuit Points
2nd: 4 Circuit Points
3rd: 2 Circuit Points

🏆 Teamfight Tactics Circuit Invitational

All this talk of Circuit Points, but what do they do? Participating in any event of our Teamfight Tactics Circuit will allow you to earn points. We will be updating the leaderboard each week to reflect the results of that week’s tournaments. At the end of the circuit, the top players will be invited to an Invitational tournament at the start of July** for some awesome prizes!

🥇 1st: – TGS Player Jersey with player tag and TFT Circuit Champion printed on it
-Plaque on the TGS Circuit Champions trophy with your name and player tag, to be displayed at TGS

➡️ Online Events Disclaimers:

Players participating in online events MUST be available in the TGS Discord server during the time of that event. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification (without refund) from that event.

Players must be residents of Canada to participate in and earn prizing in online events. If it becomes apparent after competing in an event that a player does not meet this criteria, they will not receive their prizing or a refund for that event.

➡️ Age Restrictions:
Players under the age of 13 must have a permission form signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in this event.

Players under the age of 19 who qualify for prizing must have a release form signed by a parent or legal guardian to receive said prizing. You can find these forms pinned in the general channel of our Discord.
