The Winter Split of the Calrissian Cup concludes in the Winter Major, featuring a $2000 CAD prize pool, plenty of Cup Ranking Points, and the first opportunity for Squadrons to lock up their spot in the Calrissian Cup Championship at the end of the year.

The journey to crown the best Fleet Battle pilots in the world continues on February 27-28th. It’s time to fly and earn those wings!

➡️ Tournament Format:

The Calrissian Cup Winter Major will be capped at 64 teams and played over the course of two days, with two Best of 2 Round Robin Group Stages on Saturday and a Best of 3 Single Elimination Playoff Bracket on Sunday with a Best of 5 Grand Finals.

The first groups on Saturday morning will be seeded based on Cup Ranking Points earned in the Winter Minor. Teams with no points will be seeded randomly. Each round will feature a 2-game match, with Factions randomly assigned for game 1 and swapped for game 2. To win a game, a Squadron will need to come together to take down the enemy squadron’s capital ship (Imperial Star Destroyer or MC75). After facing every Squadron in their group, the top teams in each group will move on to the second group stage. The top two teams in each group after the second group stage will move on to the Sunday Playoff Bracket.

During the groups, a 2-0 Victory is worth 3 points, a 1-1 tie is worth 1 point, and an 0-2 loss is worth 0 points. Ties will be determined using head-to-head result, followed by a Bo1 decider game if there is still a tie.

For the Playoffs (including the grand finals), higher seeded teams after groups will get to select their faction in Game 1, with the loser of each game selecting their faction for the following game. If teams are equally seeded, Game 1 will be decided randomly.

– Each Squadron must designate a Squad Leader, who will handle conversations between their Squadron and tournament admins. Squad Leaders MUST be present in the Calrissian Cup Discord Server during the tournament.

– Teams must register a starting Squadron of (5) members, with up to (2) optional substitutes for a total of (7) members.

– At the end of each game, the Squad Leader from each team must take a screencap of the end match screen and submit the screenshot through Battlefy for point submission.
